Disability Premium
Waiver
Provides that
American National will waive the premiums for this policy if you
become disabled. (Disability must be continuous for at least six
months and must begin before age 60.) (Form LPW84)
Accidental Death Benefit
Provides an
additional amount payable in the event of your death as the result
of an accident. (Form DAM84)
Children's Term Rider
Insures each
child age 15 days through 18 years at issue while the benefit is
in force. Coverage on each child terminates at age 25, but each
$1,000 of coverage may be converted to as much as $5,000 of permanent
insurance without new evidence of insurability. (Form CTR88)
Spouse Term Rider
Insures your
spouse for a specified time. This term coverage is convertible to
a permanent life insurance policy on the life of the spouse. (Form
SARTR94)
Additional Insurance Option
Rider
Makes it possible
for you to increase the specified amount of insurance at specified
ages or events (such as the birth of a child), and allows you to
do so regardless of health, occupation or military status. (Form
GIO90)
Accelerated Benefits Option
Rider
(Not available
with term policies) Under this rider, you may be able to receive,
in advance, a part of your policy's death benefit before you die,
if you become terminally ill (written proof will be required) and
have less than 12 months to live. The initial benefit wil be 50%
of the eligible death benefit or $250,000, whichever is less. Subsequent
accelerated benefit may be advanced to cover interest charges or
premium payment. Maximum benefit under this rider wil be 80% of
the eligible death benefits or $400,000, whichever is less. This
rider is not approved in all states. (Form ACC91)
A two-year
suicide provision is included in policies (one year in Colorado
and North Dakota). If a policyholder commits suicide during the
first two policy years, only a refund of premiums will be made (Missouri
requires coverage for acts of suicide, unless it can be proved that
the insured intended suicide at the time the application was completed).
The foregoing is neither
a contract nor an offer to contract, but is a general description
of benefits available under a policy providing the benefits outlined.
The exact provisions, terms and conditions of the contract are set
forth in detail in any such policy as may be issued.
